Earning Some Brownie Points

I work in a very conservative industry, thus the reason why I'm sometimes in pencil skirts and never in sleeveless tops. We have a corporate dress code policy to go by: closed shoes, below the knee skirts, no denims, blah blah blah.

I have been pushing the dress code policy at work and have been violating some of them for some time already. Then recently, I have been feeling a wave of guilt over this so I attempted to be a law abiding citizen this time and earn some brownie points with the boss. Lol.

Now I know it's a weekend and most of you were out partying last night. But since I work on weekends, I was being the good girl that I am and worked on some deadlines in my own little cubicle.

Ignore the fact that I picked a song titled Sober for a topic today. And completely ignore as well that I look so wasted in the photos. I swear I was just working... *hik*

Dying a Natural Death

Had lunch again at a Chinese resto a few days ago. I heart Chinese food! I guess it's the Asian in me.

Anyway, I wore this outfit together with my oxford shoes. I plan to wear these shoes until they die a natural death. Lol.

I've also been wearing this blue top a lot lately. It's such a great contrast to anything black. The photo doesn't do it justice.

Guilty as Charged

I once posted how I usually wear formless (baggy & lazy) black dresses as comfort clothes. They become my bestrfriend especially on days when I've been eating a lot of those extra cheese.

So yeah, that's what I've been feeling lately. How can one resist with all the Christmas cheer and feast going on?!

So I wore this while doing my final Christmas shopping yesterday. My feet definitely deserve a little TLC at a spa.

Shoe Festival

I know I'm supposed to keep this blog updated daily and that I've been slacking off lately. Been busy doing Christmas shopping. The good part is that I also bought a few gifts for myself. Bought 4 new pairs of shoes in 3 days. Yehey! Below is one of my new purchases and I promise to post the rest the soonest.
